Do I need more than one license?
Possibly. Each license covers one specific use case — for example, printing materials is covered by the Desktop License, but embedding the font on your website requires a separate Web Font License. Check the "Permitted" and "Prohibited" list under each license above, and combine as many as your project needs. If your usage spans most or all use cases, the Corporate License is usually the simpler, more cost-effective option.
What's the difference between the Web Font License and the App & Platform License?
The Web Font License covers @font-face embedding on public websites, intranets, and e-commerce sites. The App & Platform License covers embedding the font inside an app, game, software, or SaaS product (up to a licensed monthly active user count) and publishing it on app stores. If your product is a website, get Web Font; if it's an app or platform, get App & Platform.
Can I put my logo on products using just the Desktop License?
No. Creating a logo or brand identity — and using that logo across your branding materials — requires the Logo & Branding License. The Desktop License only covers workstation installs, print materials, organic social media, and giveaway/charity merchandise.
What happens if my Corporate tier's usage limits are exceeded?
Each Corporate tier — Standard, Advanced, and Unlimited — has its own ceiling for users, pageviews, ad impressions, e-publication titles, and app/game/software projects. If you're approaching or expect to exceed your current tier's limits, reach out and we'll help you move up to the next tier, or straight to Unlimited.
Is it a subscription or a one-time purchase?
Every license, including every Corporate tier, is a one-time payment for perpetual, lifetime use. There's nothing to renew and no recurring fees.
Can I resell or redistribute the font files?
No. No license — including Corporate — permits reselling the font as a standalone file or making it publicly downloadable. This sits alongside our general restrictions on redistribution, multi-user sharing beyond your license scope, format conversion, and duplication, which apply across every license type.
My project doesn't fit neatly into one of these categories — what should I do?
